Nizwa

Nizwa

Nizwa is a small town in the Sultanate that was the first Omani capital in the 6th and 7th centuries. It has kept its charm over the years despite its rapid evolution and the increase in the number of tourists on its streets. Famous for its fort and watchtower that protect the city, this village is the land of the Imams Ibn Al Julanda, the first sultans of Oman. Come and discover the fort of Bahla, a site incorporated in Unesco Heritage in 1987.
