Wadi Ghul, a spectacular canyon located at the heart of the Hajar mountains where is Jebel Shams (the Sun Mountain), the highest point of Oman at over 3000 meters above sea level. This magnificent region is renowned for its weavers’ villages where thick woolen blankets are embellished with red, black and brown geometric motifs.
Departure from your hotel with our private driver, who will take you to the Jebel Akhdar mountain range. Hike to the Jebel Shams plateau to see the stunning scenery. You will then hit the road for a tour of the surrounding Bedouin villages. Last stop at Wadi bani Habib, where you will also have the opportunity for a short hike in the paths of this impressive mountain.
